Sudhish Mohan appointed as COO of TransUnion South Africa

TransUnion, the leading global risk and information solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Sudhish Mohan as its Chief Operating Officer in South Africa. The appointment will be effective from July 02, 2018.

Sudhish will be responsible for the management of the operations and information technology solutions for the global firm’s African operations, including credit reporting and credit risk data management and analytics services. He will report to Lee Naik, TransUnion Africa’s Regional President.

“Sudhish is a Transformational IT Executive with years of leadership experience in the areas of Digital, Strategy and Global IT Transformation. Sudhish spent the last 5 years with Sasol where he has held a number of Global & Regional IT roles. His last role focused on enabling the Sasol digital strategy through modernising the information management function. His keen interest on the impact of Digital on businesses will greatly assist TransUnion Africa in it’s pursuit of leveraging emerging technologies and alternative data," says Naik.

Sudhish will begin his transition later this month and will work closely with Johan Woest who joins TransUnion Canada as its new CIO.

“TransUnion’s business strategy is to embed our drive for Information for Good and solidify our position as a major digital information and solutions provider across the African continent.,” adds Naik.

Sudhish holds a B.Comm degree in Economics & Business Management and an MBA.
