Andries Zietsman Takes up Chief Revenue Officer Role at TransUnion Africa to Drive Sustainable Business Growth

Information and insights company TransUnion Africa has promoted Andries (Dries) Zietsman to Chief Revenue Officer. Zietsman’s new role will see him capitalising on his experience within the Financial Services, Emerging Markets, Insurance, Auto, Consumer, and Public Sector verticals.

As part of the TransUnion Africa executive team, Zietsman will lead the go-to-market strategy, helping develop client relationships while delivering on TransUnion’s commitment of using Information for Good®. TransUnion’s data-led solutions help business succeed by enabling them to make better, more informed decisions in an increasingly digital world where consumers expect smoother and more tailored journeys and experiences.

Through the power of collaboration and leveraging diversity, Zietsman will help further accelerate TransUnion Africa’s financial inclusion efforts. He brings extensive strategic leadership experience in large, international organisations, including Virgin, Alexander Forbes, British Airways and Mastercard.

After joining TransUnion Africa as a Market Planner in 2018, Zietsman was promoted to Sales Vice President and subsequently led the Strategic Sales portfolio across Financial Services, Diversified Markets, Insurance, and Channel Distribution. These verticals include industries like banking, retail, telco, fintech, public sector, gaming and others.

Zietsman holds an MBA in Business Management Finance from Bond University and has been involved in a number high-profile digital-first projects designed to enable commerce across Africa.
